In a quiet green meadow lived a colony of ants that worked together every single day. Among them was a tiny ant named Rini. She was smaller than all the others, but she had the biggest heart and the loudest dreams.
Rini always wanted to help her colony, but the bigger ants often laughed at her.
“You are too small,” they said.
“You can’t lift heavy food,” others whispered.
But Rini never gave up.
The Big Storm
One afternoon, dark clouds gathered in the sky. The wind began to blow, and the ants hurried to store food inside their anthill. Suddenly, a loud noise echoed across the meadow.
A fallen branch had blocked the entrance of the anthill!
All the ants panicked. The heavy branch was too big for them to move.
“We’re stuck!” cried an ant.
“What do we do now?” shouted another.
Rini stepped forward bravely.
“I’ll find help,” she said.
The others stared at her.
“But you’re the smallest!”
“You can’t do anything!”
Rini ignored their doubts and ran as fast as she could.
A Clever Plan
On her way, she saw a group of strong beetles resting under a leaf. Rini quickly explained the problem.
“Please help us! Our whole colony is trapped!”
The beetles looked at each other and nodded.
“Lead the way,” they said.
Rini guided them back to the anthill. The beetles pushed the heavy branch with all their strength. The ants inside cheered as the entrance opened once again.
Everyone rushed out safely.
A Tiny Ant, A Big Hero
The ant queen walked to Rini with a warm smile.
“You may be small,” she said, “but your courage saved us all.”
The other ants felt embarrassed for doubting her.
“We’re sorry, Rini,” they said. “You are braver than all of us.”
Rini blushed happily. She had finally proved that even the smallest ant can make the biggest difference.
Moral of the Story
Courage is not about size or strength. It comes from believing in yourself and helping others.
